One of the most exciting potentials of Breathwork is how it can be used as an incredible tool to realise and release physical, mental and emotional blockages that we may have not even known were stopping us from reaching our highest potential.

Integrative Breathwork uses methods of breathing to safely shift your awareness and your body’s physiology to induce what Dr Stan Groff, creator of Holotropic Breathwork, calls ‘Non-ordinary states of consciousness’. It is in these states that powerful and transformative physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing can occur.

Non-ordinary states have been used by ancient and aboriginal cultures since time immemorial - as a rite of passage, for healing and spiritual exploration. Now there is much research aimed at understanding and uncovering the potential healing benefits of non-ordinary states, particularly for conditions such as PTSD, depression, ADHD and chronic anxiety.

  • Before working with Richie I was completely closed off and shut down, unmotivated and uninspired to do anything other than just survive each day with only the bare minimum effort.
